This little English church is a simple old stone building with a tower, located in the middle of a small village a mile or so from Watling Street and five miles or so from the Fosse Way.

The benefice of Burton Hastings is held in plurality with Bulkington. This means that although Bulkington is a separate parish, they share the Priest-in-charge/Vicar. As a result, people who go to St James' Church in Bulkington also attend services and events at St Botolph's and vice versa. There's a great fellowship.
